Coaching code of conduct
By committing to this Coaching Program you are agreeing to the following:
- To complete all evaluation forms / documents and provide additional feedback when needed by iHub to evaluate and monitor student & program progress and success.
- Participants will be able to book slots with you based on their coaching needs for goal orientated coaching which aligns with your personal & professional strengths.
- Agree to meet your Participants every second week on a regular IH learning day Monday – Friday for at least 45-60 minutes (check availability in their training schedule) via preferred online platform.
- Follow the Coaching Script provided for each coaching session that will provide a consistent standard experience for each learner, as well as how-to and accountability guidelines for each coaching session while ensuring positive feedback and encouragement.
- Manage regular follow ups with the Participant’s progress throughout the curriculum as well as understanding the program content and timeframes.
- Respect your participants’ time as much as you respect your own. You should be explicit about your own needs and limits. Respond to emails/messages/calls in a timely fashion and to please show up to scheduled meetings on time.
- Maintain confidentiality and respect. Your Participant must trust that anything said to you will be held in the strictest of confidence unless instructed otherwise.
- Give honest feedback, comment on the behavior/skill and not the person. When a coach observes a behavior that could be an obstacle to the Participant’s progress, the coach has an obligation to bring this to the Participant’s attention.
- Raise concerns or challenges in a timely fashion. If, after a period of time, you find the coaching relationship ineffective, then don’t be averse to discussing this with your participant and iHub Coach Lead in order to possibly end the relationship. If there is a concern which needs to be raised, please communicate with the iHub Team immediately.
